Eyüpspor pull clear to stay in top pack

In a match played out in Kayseri, Eyüpspor took control by setting the tempo rather than letting the game become a battle between the two penalty areas, and they pulled away to take all three points. The visitors needed fewer shots to get the job done, but their finishing was sharper and their individual quality made the difference.

On a night when Kaan Katran and Taylan Özdemir both scored twice, Eyüpspor’s attack was a constant threat. Baran Deniz Güler set the tone with two assists, while Kaan Katran and Taylan Özdemir also each chipped in with a final pass. Hugo Kieffer’s goal rounded off the dominant display.

Mustafa Kutay Yıldırım’s goal for Kayserispor was not enough to cut the deficit. Even when the home side enjoyed more of the ball, they struggled to stop Eyüpspor’s transition play and clinical finishing. As a result, Eyüpspor finished the week in 5th place, while Kayserispor slipped to 11th.
