Köker brace lifts Gaziantep FK past Eyüpspor

The one-goal margin kept the match in the balance for much of the contest. Fatih Köker struck twice to give hosts Gaziantep FK a 2-1 win, while Ozan Kütevin’s goal was not enough to earn Eyüpspor a point.

After a goalless draw the previous week, Gaziantep FK looked far more dangerous going forward. The hosts had seven shots, four of them on target, and made their chances count. Fatih Köker was the decisive figure with a brace, while Tunahan Karaman chipped in with an assist.

Eyüpspor replied through Ozan Kütevin but could not find a second goal to draw level. Onur Zeki Baydar assisted the visitors’ only goal. Both goalkeepers made two saves, but Gaziantep FK’s greater attacking threat proved enough to secure all three points.

The win took Gaziantep FK to four points and lifted them from 12th to sixth. Eyüpspor, who started the season without a point, slipped to 17th after their second defeat. The narrow victory gives Gaziantep FK a valuable boost up the table, while Eyüpspor will have to wait until next week to get off the mark.
