Sakaryaspor claimed their first win of the season with a 2-1 victory over MKE Ankaragücü in a closely fought match. After losing 1-0 to Bursaspor last week, Sakaryaspor got their first points on the board, while Ankaragücü suffered a second straight defeat following their 5-0 loss to Fenerbahçe Espor.
Onur Güral and Musa Ufuk Çakmak scored for Sakaryaspor. Tolga Akdoğan found the net for MKE Ankaragücü, but the visitors could not find an equaliser. Ankaragücü’s goalkeeper made six saves to keep his team in the game, though it was not enough to earn them a point.
Musa Ufuk Çakmak was one of the standout performers, combining his goal with a strong defensive display. His seven tackles helped Sakaryaspor hold firm, earning him a 10 rating. The hosts scored twice from five shots, while Ankaragücü managed six attempts—a sign that Sakaryaspor made better use of their chances.
The three points lifted Sakaryaspor from 17th to 12th. MKE Ankaragücü, still without a win after two matchweeks, remained 20th. The narrow victory was an important response from Sakaryaspor after their opening-week defeat.
