Başaksehir keep Konyaspor at bay in 2-0 win

In a game staged in Konya, Rams Başaksehir FK produced a disciplined display and came away with a convincing 2-0 win without ever rushing their play. Konyaspor enjoyed more of the ball, but could not turn possession into chances, while Başaksehir made the most of their limited openings and stayed solid at the back.

For the visitors, Kaan Kaya stood out as the man of the match, contributing an assist and offering a well-balanced performance at both ends of the pitch. Emre Türk’s link-up play, İbrahim Serhan Özuğurlu’s finishing and Atilla Berk Çebi’s direct impact on the scoresheet all helped Başaksehir execute their game plan almost to perfection. Mustafa Enes Atıcı also played a key role in the controlled victory, keeping his goal intact with five saves.

For Konyaspor, 5 shots and 166 passes did not translate into goals, and the picture did not change. The home side once again lacked the cutting edge in attack and could not find a way through Başaksehir’s organised defensive shape. With this result, Rams Başaksehir FK added to their points tally and held onto their place in mid-table, while Konyaspor remained stuck in the lower reaches.
