Özuğurlu brace sends Rams Başakşehir past Fenerbahçe Espor

The final word on TEFL Matchweek 17 came from Rams Başaksehir FK. Fenerbahçe Espor managed to find some balance in spells, but they could not stop İbrahim Serhan Özuğurlu from scoring twice and left the pitch with a 2-1 defeat.

The standout performer for the home side was Dharcya Diass. The centre-back, who earned the match’s top rating with an 8.6, was one of the key figures keeping Fenerbahçe in the game at the back, but that resistance was not enough to turn the result around. Fenerbahçe Espor were limited to just six shots in total, which made it difficult for them to sustain any real pressure.

For Rams Başaksehir FK, the game plan worked more cleanly. İbrahim Serhan Özuğurlu applied the finishing touch to the goal created by Kenan Arabaci, and the same player then made the difference again with another strike after the break. Mustafa Enes Atıcı also played a major part in preserving the away side’s lead with five saves.

With this result, Fenerbahçe Espor moved up from 6th to 4th place. Rams Başaksehir FK finished the week in 9th.
