Onur Yalin Sonaer double lifts Trabzonspor

Kasımpaşa took the lead, but Trabzonspor turned up the intensity in the closing stages to show they were the calmer side on the night. Onur Yalin Sonaer’s brace earned the visitors a 2-1 comeback win, while Kasımpaşa’s resistance was not enough to secure a point.

Cem Yucel put the home side in front, with Muhammedaziz Kahraman involved in the build-up to the goal. But Kasımpaşa’s advantage did not last long; Trabzonspor looked sharper in attack, with Samet Çoban and Berkkan Öztürk both contributing, and they were more decisive in the final third.

One of the standout individual performances of the match came from Trabzonspor goalkeeper Mikail Kutlu. He made six saves, preventing the game from slipping away early and giving his side time to mount their comeback. For Kasımpaşa, Mehdi Çelik stood out with his defensive work, but the home side’s efforts were not enough to withstand the pressure in the closing stages.

With this result, Trabzonspor moved up from ninth to eighth place. Kasımpaşa, meanwhile, finished the week still in the lower reaches of the table.
