The Week 26 clash between Gaziantep FK and Antalyaspor turned into a night in which both sides had spells of control, but neither could find the decisive breakthrough. The home team went ahead but could not hold on, while Antalyaspor dug in defensively to leave with a point.
Gaziantep FK were lifted when Fatih Köker found the net, with Hasan Ozel also playing a key role in the build-up to the goal. But Antalyaspor stayed in the contest, especially through a disciplined defensive display led by Bertug Asar and Mesut Şahin, and managed to restore balance. Mesut Şahin’s impact was the clearest sign that the visitors were never going to fold easily.
With this result, Gaziantep FK moved up from 7th to 5th and strengthened their position near the top of the table. Antalyaspor, meanwhile, remained 15th, adding another point in their fight to pull clear of the lower places. After both sides had picked up wins in midweek, they had to settle for a draw this time.
