Bozkurt Brace Ends Eyüpspor’s Run

The meeting between Eyüpspor and Antalyaspor was an entertaining goal fest, with the scoreboard kept busy from start to finish. Both teams registered seven shots, while Antalyaspor found the net three times and Eyüpspor twice. The visitors held on for a crucial 3-2 victory.

Fatih Bozkurt was Antalyaspor’s most effective attacker. The experienced striker capped a productive four-shot performance with two goals, shouldering his team’s scoring burden. Burak Soylu also contributed to the win with a goal. İlkercan Mirza played a part in all three goals, with the outstanding player providing three assists and proving decisive in Antalyaspor’s attacking moves.

For Eyüpspor, Taylan Özdemir and defender Kerim Bilik found the net to keep their side in the contest. Berke Arda and Baran Deniz Güler also contributed assists for the home side’s two goals. However, Eyüpspor’s efforts were not enough to earn a point.

Goalkeeper Umut Arda Gürler’s five saves also provided an important platform for Antalyaspor’s victory. The visitors moved up from 15th to 14th with the result, taking their points tally to 24. Eyüpspor remained on 43 points and held on to seventh place.

Antalyaspor bounced back from their defeat to Fenerbahçe Espor last week by claiming all three points with three goals in a difficult away fixture. Eyüpspor also found the net after their 3-0 win over Kayserispor, but this time they were outmatched by their opponents defensively.
