Fatih Karagümrük hit four in Gençlerbirliği rout

Fatih Karagümrük SK produced a strong response by beating Gençlerbirliği 4-1 in an entertaining clash featuring goals at both ends. The hosts’ attacking productivity proved decisive in a five-goal encounter, while Gençlerbirliği’s efforts were not enough to close the gap.

Karagümrük SK’s four-goal display was the standout feature of the match. The hosts not only held on to their lead but extended it, securing all three points with ease. Gençlerbirliği found the net once but could not maintain their defensive resilience.

The visitors’ only goal came from Ahmet Enes Samırkaş, with Kubilay Ertugrul making a notable contribution to the move. Ahmet Öcal delivered Gençlerbirliği’s best individual performance of the night. The team’s highest-rated player with a 7.9 rating, Öcal could not prevent the heavy defeat despite his committed display.

Although Gençlerbirliği made four saves, they were unable to restore the balance against Karagümrük SK’s attacking pressure. The hosts therefore claimed a morale-boosting result after their previous 0-2 defeat by Trabzonspor, while Gençlerbirliği were left without a point again following their 1-4 loss to Beşiktaş Esports.
