Kocaelispor rally to hold Konyaspor 2-2

The Week 11 TEFL fixture between Kocaelispor and Konyaspor developed into a contest in which both sides had their moments on top, but ultimately had to settle for a share of the points. The home side found the net through Furkan Aydinoz and Stéphane Picard, while Angelo Lombardi also stood out with an assist.

For Kocaelispor, Furkan Aydinoz was at the heart of everything, contributing both a goal and an assist. Stéphane Picard’s strike underlined the home side’s balance from defence to attack. Konyaspor, meanwhile, showed plenty of resilience, keeping themselves in the game despite creating little and dragging the match to a draw.

With this draw, Kocaelispor dropped from 8th to 9th place. Konyaspor, meanwhile, slipped from 11th to 14th. Both teams avoided another defeat after recent losses, but Kocaelispor’s failure to protect a two-goal lead at home was particularly notable.
