The story of the night in Konya was written by the final word on the scoreboard. Konyaspor took the lead, but Çaykur Rizespor kept control of the tempo and left the pitch with a 2-1 win.

The home side went ahead through Nurî Elagöz, with Haris Becukic also making his mark on that spell. But Rizespor’s response was immediate. Yekta Furkan Gürsoy was their sharpest attacking threat and made the difference with a brace.

The visitors’ greater shot output and their ability to carry the ball into the opposition half more regularly were among the key factors that shaped the second half. Konyaspor showed plenty of resilience defensively, but could not protect their lead. As a result, Çaykur Rizespor moved up from 6th to 4th, while Konyaspor climbed from 16th to 14th.
