Alboran Yelmen brace powers Kayserispor past Kasımpaşa

Kayserispor were the sharper, more purposeful side against Kasımpaşa, making the most of the few chances they created to run out 3-1 winners. At home, Alboran Yelmen led the way with a brace, while İsmail Gökberk Gülpınar also got on the scoresheet.

One of the key turning points was Kayserispor’s threat in the final third. Alican Özdemir was the main creative force with two assists, while Görkem Göksu Gündüz also played his part in the build-up to one of the goals. Scoring three times from just seven shots underlined the difference in finishing.

Kasımpaşa stayed in the contest through Muhammedaziz Kahraman’s goal, but they could not maintain the same defensive balance. The strike, set up by Tahsin Çelik, was not enough to spark a comeback. With this result, the visitors dropped to 16th, while Kayserispor held on to 12th place and moved on to 24 points.

Kayserispor’s recent upward trend also continues; after beating Antalyaspor, they claimed another three points with a more fluid attacking display. For Kasımpaşa, meanwhile, this defeat after their emphatic win over Kocaelispor brought their defensive problems back into sharp focus.
