Yekta Furkan brace lifts Rizespor past Konyaspor

Çaykur Rizespor came through 3-2 against Konyaspor on an evening when they built their game around attack from start to finish. The home side earned all three points thanks to their sharpness in front of goal and their effectiveness inside the box, and the result lifted them up to seventh place.

The decisive figures in the match were Yekta Furkan Gürsoy and Ilyas Karapıçak. Yekta Furkan Gürsoy made the difference with a brace, while Ilyas Karapıçak produced one goal and one assist in one of the standout performances of the night. Assists from Burak Kaya, Ömür Öner and Ilyas Karapıçak underlined the variety in Rizespor’s attacking play.

Konyaspor did get themselves on the scoresheet, but they were unable to impose the same weight on the game overall. Çaykur Rizespor’s threat came through 9 shots, backed up by 93 passes, while 11 defensive interventions showed a side that kept its balance at the other end too. The visitors, after last week’s 3-3 draw, were unable to produce the response they wanted this time.

For Çaykur Rizespor, this was more than just a win; it was a concrete step forward in their climb up the table. Contributions from different players in attack once again showed the team’s ability to find solutions during the match.
