Çaykur Rizespor controlled the tempo from start to finish against Kayserispor and left the pitch with a convincing scoreline. The home side got the job done with greater efficiency rather than a flood of chances, while also denying their opponents much room to operate.
The standout performer was Ilyas Karapıçak. He struck twice to stretch the lead, while Atahan Dönmez added the other goal. Yekta Furkan Gürsoy and Eren Kütük also played key roles in the attacking moves, with their contributions reflected directly on the scoresheet. Eren Kütük’s assist, along with his overall influence on the game, was especially important in helping Rizespor keep control in midfield.
Kayserispor, meanwhile, could not turn their spells of possession into the same level of threat. The visitors finished the match with just three shots and were unable to break down a determined Çaykur Rizespor defence and a composed display from Doğukan Kemük. The home goalkeeper’s two saves were also key to preserving the clean sheet.
With this result, Çaykur Rizespor climbed from 11th to 7th and took an important step towards the upper reaches of the table. Kayserispor, however, remained 14th and failed to pull clear of the congestion in the lower half.
