Sezer Doğan stars as Trabzonspor rout Gençlerbirliği

Trabzonspor were in control from start to finish against Gençlerbirliği in TEFL Week 7, cruising to a convincing 4-0 victory. The claret-and-blue side gave their opponents no breathing room, combining sharp attacking play with a well-balanced defensive display.

Sezer Doğan was the standout performer on the night. He scored once and provided three assists to leave his mark on the match, while Bahadir Battal settled the contest with a brace. Onur Yalin Sonaer also got on the scoresheet to round off Trabzonspor’s attacking variety. The home side were also ahead in total shots and passes, and although Gençlerbirliği’s goalkeeper made a string of saves, he could not stop the gap from widening.

With this result, Trabzonspor moved up to 9th place on 10 points. Gençlerbirliği remained in 8th.
