Nurî Elagöz brace powers Konyaspor past Kasımpaşa

Konyaspor beat Kasımpaşa 3-1 in Week 22 of TEFL, with the home side doing the damage despite taking fewer shots and making their chances count more ruthlessly. Even when the visitors had more of the ball, they could not match Konyaspor’s edge in the final third.

Nurî Elagöz led the way for the hosts with two goals, while Efe Erboz had a direct hand in the attack with a goal and an assist. The moves created by Adem Aksüt and Haris Becukic also underlined how well Konyaspor had planned to get the ball into dangerous areas.

For Kasımpaşa, Miroslav Atanasov’s goal briefly cut the deficit, while Yaren Zeynep Çelebioglu was one of the side’s standout performers with her work in midfield. Even so, Kasımpaşa could not close the gaps at the back, and their search for points came to nothing.

With this result, Konyaspor climbed from 16th to 14th. Kasımpaşa, meanwhile, dropped from 14th to 16th, further tightening the battle at the bottom of the table.
