In the 22nd week of TEFL, Beşiktaş Esports beat Kayserispor 4-2 to keep the pressure on in the title race. The black-and-whites looked the more dangerous side for much of the game and, despite conceding twice, managed to stay in control of the scoreline. The standout performer was Roman Seker, who carried much of Beşiktaş Esports’ attacking burden with a brace. Vasco Bravo and Bilal Doudouh also got on the scoresheet to help stretch the lead. The creativity of Vinh Nguyen Cooler and Abdelmalek Bounia made the home side’s passing game flow more smoothly.
Kayserispor were never completely out of it, though, and responded through goals from Alboran Yelmen and Süleyman Yalım Çopuroglu. A goal created by İsmail Gökberk Gülpınar showed that the visitors could still pose a threat at times in attack. Even so, Beşiktaş Esports’ greater shot count and heavier pressure tipped the balance in the home side’s favour.
Kayserispor’s goalkeeper was forced into a string of saves, underlining just how much pressure Beşiktaş Esports were applying around the box. The black-and-whites have now won their last two matches.
