Kittelsen brace lifts Kayserispor in Antalya

On a night when Tommy Kittelsen stole the show with a brace, Kayserispor left Antalyaspor with a 3-1 win. Despite having fewer shots, the visitors were sharper in attack and finished the week with a valuable three points.

Abdullah Kerem Bulanık was on target for Antalyaspor and kept his side in the game for long spells. But the hosts could not turn their possession into enough goals, while Jon Melby’s strike and Alican Özdemir’s assist swung the balance in Kayserispor’s favour.

The numbers backed up the picture. Antalyaspor may have seen more of the ball, but Kayserispor combined a higher team rating with more decisive individual performances to get the job done. Tommy Kittelsen’s finishing was the key part of the visitors’ attacking plan. With this result, Kayserispor climbed from 14th to 12th in the league.
