Baran Öztürkçe brace powers Gaziantep win

Gaziantep FK were the more organised side from start to finish away at Çaykur Rizespor and came away with a convincing 3-0 win. The visitors posed more of a threat going forward and gave their opponents very little room to work with at the back.

Baran Öztürkçe was the standout performer with a brace, while Hasan Ozel also got on the scoresheet to help stretch the lead. For Gaziantep FK, assists from Kerem Özbay, Tunahan Karaman and Aziz Can Şahiner ensured the attack was fed from all areas.

Mehmet Can Güneş kept a clean sheet with four saves, helping the visitors settle into the game with confidence. Gaziantep FK’s 17 successful tackles and 11 shots were further signs of their control in the overall picture of the match.

Çaykur Rizespor enjoyed more of the ball but were blunt in the final third. The home side managed just five shots, struggled to break down the Gaziantep defence and saw no change to their points tally as a result.
