Sivasspor go top after 2-1 win over Ankaragücü

A narrow 2-1 win sent Sivasspor to the top of the table and kept their perfect start intact. They beat MKE Ankaragücü in Week 3 to make it three wins from three, move on to nine points and rise from second place to first. The slim margin kept Ankaragücü in the game until the final whistle, but Sivasspor held on to claim all three points.

Serhat Bostan and Batuhan Uyar scored for Sivasspor, while Yavuz Dalgıç got MKE Ankaragücü’s only goal. The hosts followed up their wins over Eyüpspor and Fenerbahçe Espor in the opening two weeks with another victory, and have conceded just once in their first three matches.

The defeat marked Ankaragücü’s third straight loss to start the season.
