Late goals end Fenerbahçe Espor's run

Trabzonspor found a way to turn the balance in their favour in the closing stages and knock Fenerbahçe Espor out with a 2-1 win. The claret-and-blue side did not look especially dangerous in attack, but they made their chances count; by contrast, Fenerbahçe Espor’s greater shot count was not enough to change the outcome.

For the Black Sea side, Berkkan Öztürk and Onur Yalin Sonaer were the men on target. Bahadir Battal played a key role in the opening goal, while Berkkan Öztürk was also one of Trabzonspor’s standout performers with an 8.2 rating. For Fenerbahçe Espor, Saad Moufdi’s goal was not enough to keep the score level; although Hikmet Arısoy created the move that kept the visitors in the game, their resistance finally broke late on.

Both teams leaned heavily on duels defensively, and Trabzonspor’s 14 tackles showed they were the side that made the game more physical and disrupted the rhythm. Fenerbahçe Espor completed more passes, but could not turn that advantage into a result, which proved to be one of the key turning points of the night. The result lifts Trabzonspor from ninth to eighth, while Fenerbahçe Espor remain in fifth.
