In the opening week of TEFL, Gençlerbirliği and Eyüpspor served up a high-tempo, chance-filled match for the fans. With the scoreline constantly in the balance, the home side stayed more composed in the closing stages and claimed all three points.
Tolga Aydın was the driving force behind Gençlerbirliği’s attack. With one goal and two assists, Tolga left his mark on the game and set the tone for his side’s creativity. Ferhat Göztepe’s two goals gave the hosts a major advantage, while Atalay Gürel’s contribution completed the attacking chain.
