In the 17th week of TEFL, Galatasaray Espor took control of the tempo away to Gençlerbirliği and left the pitch with a convincing 3-0 win. The yellow-and-reds, who enjoyed more of the ball, created more chances and looked sharper in attack, strengthened their grip on top spot.
What stood out most was that the goals came from different profiles. Luca Gomes, Juan Luis Doblas Donoso and Bryan Toffin found the net, while Kevin Yanakçı, Lavenu Jimmy and Elyes Temagoulte also played a direct part in the scoring. Bryan Toffin, in particular, stood out for both his defensive presence and his finishing in the final third.
Gençlerbirliği, meanwhile, struggled to disrupt their opponent’s passing rhythm and use of space. The home side could not build enough consistency in its efforts on target, while Galatasaray Espor’s defensive solidity made it easier to protect the lead. With this result, the capital club climbed from 12th to 11th, while Galatasaray Espor kept hold of first place.
Extending their recent run of form, Galatasaray Espor once again underlined their title credentials with both attacking output and defensive discipline.
