Emir Güney brace powers Samsunspor to 4-0

Samsunspor seized control early in their away trip to Kasımpaşa and kept pulling away, eventually leaving with a convincing 4-0 win. The visitors were cleaner in possession and sharper around the penalty area, putting the burden squarely on their opponents from start to finish.

Kasımpaşa finishing the match with just one shot underlined how badly the home side struggled in attack. Samsunspor, by contrast, produced 14 efforts on goal and kept the pressure on throughout, while also giving little away at the back to make it a one-sided contest. The result lifts Samsunspor up to fifth, while Kasımpaşa remain stuck in the lower reaches of the table.

The standout performer on the night was Emir Güney. The defender scored twice and made his mark going forward, while Ali Usta played a key role in the build-up with two assists. Kaan Katran and Atakan Yılmaz also contributed with goals and final passes as Samsunspor’s attacking output was spread across the team.

Samsunspor’s positioning high up the pitch and their quick reactions to second balls repeatedly snuffed out Kasımpaşa’s attempts to build attacks before they could get going. The visitors controlled the tempo throughout and their dominance in possession and territory was reflected as clearly on the pitch as it was on the scoreboard.
